A Disciple’s Love

My Lord, my God, I must confess,
And with honest lips I will profess that
You, now, are my life’s love;
The utmost love of my life.
My heart daily ached
For the majesty your word confides to me-
For the comfort your Spirit provides.
I yearn and long for your amazing grace
As I fail, on my own, to change my heart.
Take my life as it is
That you may forever sanctify me.
Work some miracle deep inside
So when people look, it’s not me they see.
